Dr. Mukami Nthiga holds a Ph.D. in Law and an LL.M both from the University of London. She also holds an MBA in Global Business and Sustainability from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart (Milan/Tangaza College), a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law, and an LL.B (Hons) from the University of Nairobi. She currently serves as a Lecturer at the University of Embu, School of Law, in the Public Law Department. Dr. Nthiga's teaching, research, and supervisory expertise centers on International Humanitarian Law, the use of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles in armed conflict, International Economic Law (Economic Terrorism), Digital Humanities, and legal theory on the emergence of digital civilization. Her scholarly contributions bring a critical and contemporary lens to the intersection of law, technology, and global economic governance. In addition to her academic scholarship, Dr. Nthiga remains committed to advancing legal education and interdisciplinary research that addresses emerging challenges in the digital age and armed conflict.
